In the FCH₂RAIL project, a bimode hydrogen train demonstrator has been developed, built and approved. This demonstrator train has been already running on various routes in the Spanish network since mid-2023. Further demonstration journeys will be carried out in Spain and Portugal in the first half of 2024.
