On IRSA2023 Marcel Scharmach presented a comparative analysis of simulation tools applied in the FCH2Rail and the VirtualFCS project. The paper describes the various approaches of the dimensioning processes of fuel cells and batteries and compares the capability of the tolls and their features.
Markus Kordel presented a simulative investigation of a metal hydride refrigeration system and an absorption refrigeration system in a generic thermal car body. The results are evaluated on the basis of European standards and two realistic tracks in Spain.
