Congratulations to CAF and CNH2 for the Best Innovation Award from Clean Hydrogen Partnership!
The award was presented today by Joanna Drake during the European Hydrogen Week 2024 and accepted by Beatriz Nieto Calderón (CNH2) and Manex Zabala Mikeleiz (CAF), both representing the innovators, and by Hong Hanus as representative of the project coordinator DLR.
CAF and CNH2 developed a testing system for Fuel Cell Hybrid PowerPacks, that does not require a real train. The tests can determine the performance and operation of the individual parts of the power pack, or of the complete system. It was used in the FCH2RAIL project to validate system performance and to optimize the energy management.
