Yesterday, FCH2RAIL members visited the DB innovation hub in Tübingen. Here, DB H2goesRail project is demonstrating the world’s first fully mobile, flexible hydrogen refuelling system, which can be used to quickly refuel fuel cell trains.
The green hydrogen is produced directly on site using electrolysis. The hydrogen obtained in this way is then compressed, stored in the DB storage trailer and processed and cooled in the DB Refueller before refuelling.
